How to send bigger

  1. A TransferThing link

For someone outside the organisation: drop the file here, paste the link in the chat or an e-mail. Up to 5 GB, without an account, and the recipient downloads in their browser, without Teams.

  2. Share it from the team’s files

Inside the organisation, share it from the team’s files or OneDrive rather than attaching it to the chat: 250 GB per file in a team’s files, according to Microsoft.

  3. Zip or split

A .zip barely shrinks videos, photos or PDFs. Several files under 100 MB work, but the recipient has to put everything back together.
