How to send bigger
A TransferThing link
Drop the file here, paste the link in the channel. Up to 5 GB, and anyone, even outside the workspace, downloads in their browser without an account.
A shared drive
If your team already uses Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox, put the file there and share its link in Slack. It uses that storage; check who can open it.
Zip or split
A .zip barely shrinks videos, photos or PDFs. Several parts under 1 GB work, but your recipient has to put everything back together.
A free account to follow your transfers.
